Coach: Qibiao Wang
Qibiao Wang is a premium chess coach living in Long Island, NY.
Earlier in his life, he played for Hebei Province Professional Chess Team and Chinese National Team for more than 15 years. After graduation from Clark University in 2014, he played chess professionally and won several major chess tournaments in 2014 and 2015.
Since January 2016, Coach Wang started teaching chess full-time. In 2 years, he has become one of the most competitive chess coaches and players in Long Island, NY. His students have seen stellar performance in chess competitions. Eight students have achieved master titles, such as FM, CM, WFM, WCM, NM titles awarded by World Chess Federation and US Chess Federation. Among them, Liran Zhou and Vincent Tsay won gold medals in 2017 World Cadets Chess Championship U10 and U12 group respectively.
